MILMET – Migrants Integration into the Labour Market and Ecological Transition – are the topics this project aims to gather all into one.
In many European countries, migrants and refugees are still facing severe obstacles (discrimination, cultural differences, language barriers, lack of recognition of their training and work qualification), that hamper their integration into the labour market.
With the implementation of MILMET, we would like to achieve the following objectives:
- integrate more efficiently migrants and refugees into the labour market identifying and increasing migrants’ vocational skills;
- involve green enterprises and migrants into the project’s activities (selection and participation in the activities);
- provide qualified manpower to green enterprises;
- raise awareness among enterprises and authorities about migrants’ integration issues.
