GAD – Game creation in augmented reality enhancing professional digital skills is a project funded under the Erasmus + program. It was born as a response to the European need to qualify the digital skills of educational and professional organizations through the creation of a tool that will allow teachers, tutors and educators to innovate their teaching practices by integrating technology, and more specifically augmented reality.
GAD Game is an application that teachers can use as a support for their lessons and to submit quizzes to their students, in which it will be possible to interact with 3D models to experience an immersive and direct learning experience.
Imagine being able to explain anatomy by showing a three-dimensional human body, or to talk about art by showing the architecture of a building or even being able to show the internal parts of a computer during an IT lesson without using 3D glasses or physical objects.
We are delighted to inform you that it will soon be possible to download the application, free of charge, for both the Android and IOS operating systems. If you want to know more and if you are interested in innovating your teaching methods, in December we will hold two launch conferences, one at a local level where we will show the objectives of the project and the functionalities of the app, and one at an international level where the teachers who took part in the project will share their experiences and in which we will talk about the methodologies we used and their educational value.
