Why volunteering activities?
To serve means to give, to sacrifice a part of oneself, of what one possesses, for the benefit of others.
Jean G. Lossier
Volunteering is an activity that positively influences physical and mental health. What are its benefits?
- It allows us to meet new people and make friends;
- It strengthens community ties and expands the support network;
- Develop skills;
- It can help us protect our health, both mentally and physically.
Through volunteering we help ourselves while helping others.

Transnational Meetings
In September 2022, the consortium met in Mälmo (Sweden) to carry out the second transnational meeting. The goal of the second meeting was to set the bases to create the ProfilPass and the curriculum together with the learning modules.
Since then, the partnership has had different online meetings to monitor results and progress.
Next Steps
Now that the project is at the halfway point and we haveall the theoretical materials ready (the profilPass, theToolkit and the Curriculum), the consortium enters thetraining and implementation phase. This phase will involvetraining for professionals in the field, which will consist ofacquiring tools to motivate newly retired people toparticipate in volunteering with the skills they haveacquired throughout their lives.
